Lemieux Half Lined Dressage Numnah Black/Black
These top quality LeMieux Dressage Numnahs are half lined lined with pure Australian Merino lambswool and have a classic straight cut. The wool is much denser & softer than older sheep's wool commonly found. They have a clear spine and Swan-neck design that sweeps up at the wither relieving pressure on the spine and allowing air flow. The stiffer spine gives the Numnahs very good shape and stability under the saddle.
There is also a strengthened 'Signiature' girth protection area with double adjustable velcro straps for ease of saddle fitting.
Available in four colour combinations: Natural wool/White, Black wool/Black, Taupe wool/Brown and the new Grey wool/Grey.
Old horsemen used to say: There's 'nothing better for a horses back than natural wool' it promotes blood circulation - is fully breathable, maintaining optimum temperature in summer and winter - regulates humidity controlling the breeding of bacteria and skin irritations and prevents bruising, scarring, chaffing and pressure sores.
If washed carefully on a wool cycle (max 40 degrees), with preferably WoolSkin (available from Horse Health) or non-biological powder or liquid these lambswool pads will give long service. NEVER dry or place directly on a heat source.
Please note all sizes given are approximate and in CM.
The lambswool in your Merino+ pad will volumise once it's opened from its packaging and gain in depth & density as it absorbs moisture and air. Its' feel & flexibility will also improve the more you wash it. Machine washing is recommended at 40 degrees. A stain remover can be used on fabric areas and WoolSkin Wash is recommended in the machine. Once washed straighten fabric out and air dry or tumble on a cool cycle.
We recommend using a wash bag in the washing machine.
Please ensure all velcro is closed firmly prior to washing.
Warning: In rare cases dye from black wool items may leach from wool items giving a slight blue tint. Staining of grey coats can occur.
